Flow switches

The induction flow meters can be used in the flow switch version with an adjustable flow limit and dead zone. These parameters are easily adjustable via the software environment in PC. These meters can be used e.g. for monitoring of cooling circuits, idling cycles of pumps, etc. The principal advantage of the induction flow switch against other principles consists in absence of mechanical parts (long-term service life), full profile (nearly zero pressure loss), and diverse tube materials (usable for any conductive liquid medium). These sensors are available with a compact evaluating unit or with the electronics housed in the flow meter body.

The Flow/No-flow output signal can be used for all induction flow meters where the pulse output is changed to YES/NO output and the flow level at which the output contact makes or breaks by software, with the threshold adjustment, of course.

Owing to usually low cost use of flow switches, this mode is used in FLOW 32 meter most frequently.

FLOW 32 Flow switch

  • It can be supplied without any connectors
  • Electronic unit in the flow meter body
  • Extensive dynamic range up to 1:100
  • High repeatability of measurement over full-scale flow range
  • Possibility of choosing pulse output or PWM output
  • Variable flow pulse number
  • Usable at the conductivity of medium higher than 2 mS/cm
  • High resistance to abrasion.
  • Measurability of the bulk of media except crude oil products
  • The flow sensor can be modified to a very aggressive or alkaline fluid

It is a fully unattended induction flow meter with display and IP 65 intended for technological processes in all sorts of batching or manufacturing stands. Thanks to its unique structure with electronic evaluating unit located inside the flow rate sensor, it is an ideal solution where simplicity and minimum maintenance are required. Using the15 - 24V power, the output can be set to pulse (with customer constant and pulse width or PWM). Furthermore, the flow meter can be used as a safety flow device with a dead zone if appropriate. The meter can be connected to the system through the extracted cable or connector according to customer needs. The meter is equipped with ground electrodes so there is no need for using ground rings before and after the meter.
